El Tivoli Place Oak Cliff T-Shirt
Just about every neighborhood in Oak Cliff has an interesting history, but El Tivoli Place ranks near the top.
In the '30s, the El Tivoli Club sat on a small piece of land that is today bordered by El Tivoli Drive, Chevez Drive, Cliffdale, and San Jose Drive. [If you drive by there on a quiet summer night, you can almost hear the band...]
Pay respect to ETP with this tee.

Dells District Oak Cliff T-Shirt
There it sits, in northwest Oak Cliff, near Jefferson and Westmoreland: The Dells District.
Built in the 1920s, it was originally called the Irwindell addition (Irwindell Blvd. runs off of Jefferson). Coombs Creek, named for William Coombs, winds through Dells.
You'll think of old Billy Combs every time you pull on this t-shirt.

The first neighborhood -- dubbed the Marsalis Addition -- opened in November 1887.

Burnett Field Oak Cliff T-Shirt
Ask an Oak Cliff old-timer about Burnett Field and their eyes will light up.
Thousands of fans would cram into this ballpark at Colorado and Jefferson to watch minor league baseball. Built in the 1920s, a number of teams called Burnett Field home, including the Steers, Rebels, and Eagles.

Bishop Arts District Oak Cliff T-Shirt
Turn off West Davis onto Bishop Avenue and you're there: The Bishop Arts District, a small cluster of shops and warehouses developed in the early 1900s.
The old trolley that served the neighborhood during the 1930s and '40s, stopped operating in 1955.
Artists began moving into the shuttered buildings in the 1970s. Today, it's a bustling little community full of cool shops and wonderful restaurants.
Check out the Bishop Arts District t-shirt here.

It's personal preference, really. Emphasis on "Oak" or on "Cliff."
Some are into the oaks. Others like the idea of cliffs.
Either way, the shirts are cool.
